The video begins at the widest angle, at 1x zoom, then zooms in at its top speed until it reaches the maximum 12x zoom. This should give a good idea of the high picture quality that is maintained throughout the zooming up through the maximum 12x zoom, as well as the speed and smoothness of the zoom function. The video is recorded handheld, without a tripod.

Here are two sample HD videos in the AVCHD Lite format, presented for free download as original and unedited MTS files. They were filmed using the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 digital camera. The purpose is to allow you to download and sample the original MTS files, in an uncompressed form to view and edit on your computer.

These videos are taken straight out of the camera, with no post-processing of any kind. This can be useful if you do not have access to the Panasonic ZS3, and want to inspect the video quality, the audio quality, the zoom, the quality of video playback on a computer, and the ease of video editing on a computer for MTS video files made by the Panasonic ZS3.
